Heute veröffentlichen die „schwedischen Rockgötter“ (Stereogum) The Hives ein aufsehenerregendes Video zu ihrer mitreißenden Single „Rigor Mortis Radio“. Das Video, bei dem Filip Nilsson Regie führte, zeigt die Band in einer nie dagewesenen Art und Weise: synchroner Tanz in ihren charakteristischen Anzügen, in denen sie ihre besten Boyband- und Bob Fosse-Moves zeigen.
Das Video ist das Ergebnis ihrer Sommer-Supporttour mit den Foo Fighters und der Ankündigung ihrer nordamerikanischen Herbsttournee 2024, mit Terminen in NYC im Kings Theatre, Boston im Roadrunner und Philadelphia im Fillmore. Außerdem werden sie beim Sea.Hear.Now Festival in Asbury Park, NJ, und beim Oceans Calling Festival in Ocean City, MD, auftreten.
Das größte Arenakonzert der Hives in ihrer Karriere findet am 8. Oktober im 20.000 Zuschauer fassenden Palacio De Los Deportes in Mexico City statt. Die Nordamerika-Tournee 2023 der Band war innerhalb von 15 Minuten komplett ausverkauft.
