Swedish-Finnish alternative rock artist FELIN releases “President Of My Own Fanclub” in its entirety, following the launch of the album’s first part last year. Featuring previously released singles “Solo Anthem” and “Hit Like A Girl”, the latest single “Running Red Lights” and the new focus track “Nobody Told Me”, the full album explores ambition, vulnerability and the challenge of staying true to yourself.
Blending alternative rock, pop-punk and dark pop, FELIN channels personal struggles into emotionally direct songs driven by raw energy, sharp melodies and an uncompromising spirit.

“This album is probably the most personal thing I’ve ever made,” says FELIN. “The first songs for this album were written during a pretty dark period in my life, filled with anxiety, self-doubt, panic attacks and a lot of questions about who I was and where I was going.”

Born and raised in Terjärv, Finland, Elin Blom Etoall formed her first band at eleven. After developing her career in Los Angeles and later establishing herself in Stockholm, Sweden, she went on to adopt the artist name FELIN. Her Finnish roots and the concept of sisu – the determination to keep going through adversity – remain central to her artistic identity.

“Being a woman in this industry, especially in rock music, I’ve definitely had my fair share of being underestimated, having to prove myself over and over again,” she explains. “I’ve always had this fire inside me that keeps me going, even when things get tough. But I’ve also learned that the same fire that drives me forward can sometimes come dangerously close to burning me out.”

The album’s title reflects the ongoing process of learning to accept yourself, let go of external expectations and keep going even when life takes an unexpected turn.

“And the truth is, I’m still figuring it out. I’m still struggling to be the president of my own fanclub,” FELIN says. “You don’t have to have everything figured out to believe in yourself. You can be scared, exhausted and uncertain and still keep going.”

Beyond her solo career, FELIN is an accomplished songwriter and live performer, with songwriting credits for international artists including Adam Lambert and touring experience as a musician with Icona Pop and Agnes.
FELIN has also appeared on television programmes in Germany, Sweden and Finland. In 2025, she competed in Eesti Laul, Estonia’s national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest, with “Solo Anthem”, which features on the new album. Her live experience spans clubs, festivals and international tours with Normandie, Smash Into Pieces, Royal Republic and Thundermother, as well as opening arena shows for The Chainsmokers in Berlin.

With “President Of My Own Fanclub”, FELIN embraces the uncomfortable truths behind self-belief and ambition, turning personal struggles into an album for anyone who has ever questioned themselves but kept going anyway. Because sometimes, believing in yourself doesn’t mean having all the answers. It simply means refusing to give up.

“If there’s one thing I hope people take away from this album, it’s that they’re not alone in whatever battle they’re fighting,” FELIN says. “If these songs can make even one person feel a little less alone, a little more empowered, or give them a little more of that ‘fuck it, I’m doing it anyway’ attitude towards life, then I’ll be proud of what I’ve created.”

Following the album release, FELIN will embark on her most extensive European tour to date as special guest on the 2026 anniversary tour of Ukrainian rock band The Hardkiss. The 24-date tour will travel across 14 European countries, including a London show at Electric Ballroom on November 5, before concluding at Tavastia in Helsinki, Finland, on December 1.
